About Keith Childress

Keith Childress has been involved in the design engineering profession for more than forty years. He is a 1980 graduate of the Batavia School of Drafting and a 1982 graduate of the prestigious Philpot School of Automotive Body Design. Mr. Childress has been awarded multiple patents for his designs and has written articles that have appeared in worldwide trade publications.

 

 

Mr. Childress began using CATIA in 1986 while employed as a Lead Designer at Saturn Corp. (GM), and is a Dassault Systemes “CATIA Certified Professional.” Mr. Childress founded Keith Childress’ Practical CATIA Training™ in Metro-Detroit in 1995, which he expanded to a worldwide market in 2003 via online training. Practical CATIA Training is based on Mr. Childress’ extensive use of the CATIA software over the past 30+ years.
